"Gray Sky, Gray Sky! Go away, Gray Skies!"
The world wishes for the sky to always be blue.
In the eyes of the world, a blue sky, and only a blue sky, makes for a happy day.
But why would you wish for the sky to always be blue?
If the sky was always blue, you'd never love and cherish the variations of color.
From the pink of a sunrise, on a promising day, to the orange of a sunset, on a day you've wished to end.
If the sky was always blue, would we even be here?
For gray skies, while dark and dreary, brings about life-sustaining sustenance, or, on occasion, frogs and fish!
If the sky was always blue, you'd never again feel the rush as you sprinted to find cover from the spitting skies!
So please, think past the wishfulness!
And next time your sky is covered in a beautiful layer of gray, why not go and play?
It's a rainy day here, and because of the awesome response I've been getting to my poetry I was flipping through some old poems I've got.
The original of this is like three years old, but I thought a nice lil' revamp would do. I like it enough. :P

Very brilliant moral. It's very uplifting and teaches the "silver lining" ideal in a much more effective and well written manner. Well done. :)
